Unit Security Manager Services

Metro Professional Services is providing support to the 55th Rescue Squadron at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. We are providing Unit Security Manager Assistant Services.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The 55th RQS rapidly deploys highly survivable Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) force to theater combatant commands. Employs HH-60G and Pararescue forces in hostile threat environments during day, night, and marginal weather. Conduct military operations other than war including disaster relief, counter-drug operations, and non-combatant or medical evacuation. Provide close air support to assigned Pararescue/ground forces.

The Unit Security Manager Assistant is responsible for assisting the Unit Security Managers (USM) with information, industrial, and personnel security of the unit. The USM assistant shall ensure that the security program functions properly, as well as, ensure overall personnel security management for all military and civilian personnel assigned to the organization. Additionally, the USM assistant will aid in the implementation of security controls for the protection of classified information in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Joint, Air Force, and Air Combat Command (ACC) security directives, policies and instructions.

EDUCATION:

Completion of high school or General Educational Development equivalency is mandatory.

EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge. The contractor must have knowledge of principles, policies, and procedures of DoD, Joint, Air Force, ACC, and local security programs; training requirements; security computer systems and products.

Training. The Government will provide additional training for additional USM training, if necessary, to accommodate specific mission requirements at Davis-Monthan AFB.

Experience. The USM assistant shall have a minimum of 6 month experience in an information protection field, USM, or equivalent military experience directly related to unit security responsibilities.

Competence with computer systems is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required.

Secret Security Clearance. The contractor USM assistant must currently possess and maintain a “Secret” security clearance and be capable of obtaining a SIPRNET account.

Other Qualifications. The ability to understand, read, write, and speak English clearly and distinctly; able to operate computer systems.
