Content Administration Support

Metro Professional Services has an existing contract at the Air Force Language & Culture Center at Maxwell AFB, AL. The Academic Centers accomplish their missions through several functional areas to include Content Administration Support. We're looking to fill a full-time Content Administration Support position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Maintain oversight of events relevant to the Client, coordinate schedules, and perform organizational calendar maintenance for Client personnel and contractors in support of projects, including travel to and attendance at other conferences or meetings, and prepare and support associated travel materials using Client tools such as the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Participate in meetings, reviews, briefings, and teleconferences and prepare slides, agendas, minutes, and other administrative products using the software that the Centers are using (note:  the Client is currently using Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Support daily operations through various activities including:  preparing correspondences, responding to organizational e-mail requests for materials and information, performing records management activities, coordinating with AU and other organizations for materials and support, answering phones, and other staff actions.

Edit and/or publish selected papers, articles, monographs, electronic articles or books, as well as documents in support of specific projects, summary guides, and smart cards suitable for expeditionary operations on items of interest.

Perform administrative support to facilitate accomplishment of the Client’s missions. Activities include providing transcription and record-keeping assistance and support, organizing and archiving academic research information, and/or similar research administrative activities, and perform normal coordination and support activities for the Client on a daily basis in direct support of task order requirements, to include the following (or similar) types of activities and efforts:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

Must be certified in Microsoft Office 2010 Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, or perform to that level of proficiency.

Demonstrated initiative in being proactive, set priorities, time management, and meet suspense dates.

Ability to interact on a professional level with managers, clients, and all personnel.

Ability to work well independently; demonstrated creativity, self-discipline, and organization.

Ability to research and identify credible information and summarize that information.

Desired:

Prior experience working in the military adult education environment; familiarity with language training programs.
