Metro Professional Services is providing support to the 306th Rescue Squadron at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. We are providing Equipment Manager services.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The 306th RQS is an Air Force Reserve (AFRC) unit whose vision is to be a "Ready, reliable, and accessible force that maintains its relevancy now and through the millennium". The mission is "To provide combat capability to the war fighter and security to the homeland.”
The mission of the equipment manager is to ensure lifesaving mission ready equipment for the warfighter is serviceable, maintained, accounted for, inspected regularly, and recommend replacement when required. The equipment manager shall also provide feedback, asset management, and coordination of maintenance of GA equipment.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma is the minimum requirement, at least some college is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Skills/Technical Knowledge. The contractor must possess the skills/technical knowledge necessary to perform all mission equipment manager tasks listed in this PWS. Interpersonal and effective communication skills required. The contractor must familiarize themselves with Air Force Instructions, Technical Orders, and other official guidance related to Mission Equipment operations.
Equipment Management Program Knowledge. The contractor must have a working knowledge and understanding of Air Force Equipment Management Program as outlined in Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 23-122, Material Management Procedures.
Computer Software. The contractor shall have working knowledge of the following computer software:
a. Microsoft Word b. Power Point c. Excel d. Apple & Android applications
Experience. The contractor must have a minimum of two years working within Special Tactics or pararescue squadron.
