20th ATKS Operations Support

Metro Professional Services is currently performing under the RQS Operations Support Services contract at Whiteman AFB, MO.  Our efforts support the mission of the Air Force’s Rescue Squadrons (RQS) in areas of mission/asset scheduling, training, mobility/deployment, security management, and administration.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide administrative support for Scheduling, Flight Training, Standardization and Evaluation (Stan/Eval), Unit Deployment Management, Unit Programs Coordination, and Program Security Management.

Scheduling is a challenging, dynamic process. Even after the schedule is printed, numerous changes are normally required because of aircraft mechanical problems, medical issues, flight evaluation requirements, expiring event currencies, deployments and training. Weather conditions and other factors beyond the control of the scheduler also limit flying opportunities. The scheduler needs to be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a medium- to high-stress environment.

Training and Stan/Eval will maintain accountability and control of flight testing materials. Update data in PEX, Training Management System (TMS), Unmanned Aerial System Learning Management System (LMS), future equivalent systems to PEX, TMS or LMS and locally-developed computer database systems as required.

Unit Deployment Managers will prepare and process individuals for deployments/re-deployments to/from combat zones, exercises, and other locations. Coordinate and schedule required pre-departure training. Build and maintain individual mobility folders. Procure equipment through outsourcing Government contractors, and utilizing current directives of host base responsibilities in providing members with all gear associated with deployments. Unit Programs Coordinator serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for all administrative support programs such as task management, Government Travel Card (GTC) program, health care program, fitness program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program, Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP), etc.

Unit Security Specialist provide analytical, advisory, management; technical and functional support required for the operational execution of 20 ATKS collateral and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) security programs. The contractor shall provide direct assistance in the form of technical and functional support to primary and alternate squadron security managers and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) Special Security Representatives to establish and carry out security training activities and functions including but not limited to program management, scheduling of training events, and implementation of HHQ, Defense Security Service (DSS), Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID), Joint Air Force, Army, Navy (JAFAN) Directives, Office Personnel Management (OPM) and wing security policies and edicts.

EDUCATION:

HS Diploma as a minimum, some specialized Air Force training and college credit is desired.

EXPERIENCE:

Each of these position to include Schedulers, Unit Deployment Managers, Training, Standardization & Evaluation, Unit Program Coordinator, and Unit Security Manager all have separate requirements. These positions are located at the Rescue Squadrons at this base, and therefore it’s desired that prospective candidates have a background in the Rescue arena. All positions require an active DoD Secret clearance, and some positions require a Top Secret clearance.
